Oh-so I went in, actually, to check my e-mails (with an undeniably constipated tummy since morn) for the pending reply concerning the Class T Shirt. AND NO, there wasn't any reply. dang it. oh well. So, I rummaged through every must-visit website such as Friendster and I came across this under "New Horoscope" that says "Do not worry about your reputation! It is still as stellar as it deserves it now".
And so I wondered. Reputation. Hmm.. what is it all about reputation that matters in today's life? Everyone is always talking about saving their reputation... and for what reasons? So you're likeable? Is that the way how TRUE reputation works?
I guess and am mindful that we do not have to be necessarily too impulsive or obnoxious into what-we-call saving our water face value. I guess what is necessarily most important is that you have the GOOD INTENTION of doing/being/aiming at an objective. And yes, I've learnt it today. You don't to be necessarily be the popular guy in school to be saving your reputation. Even a loner in class could do as equally the same. It's just how we define our own reputation. Even the slightest smile you offer or the 1st few steps you withdraw yourself into can make an impact on your reputation.
One does not need to be somebody else in order to receive that reputation. However, I sometime wonder, is that THE real way to be saving our own reputation? How would somebody else judge about us in return for our own actions just because we want to savour that small spat of reputation on us? Would it be of good use afterall? Or just mere lose lose situation.
We, human beings, should also be frequent in asking ourselves about our own actions. Has our actions really benefit the lives of others ? Do we necessarily have to act in a certain way before we eventually get that reputation from and for a certain someone? Even a good heart versus a bad intention may be similar to our certain extent. But however, these ponders often are unanswerable yet they're are questionable.
Hope this generic ponder makes us wonder how we'll deal our "reputation" in the future. =)
Get well soon Farhan.
